Meet our producers: Weingut Turk
Weingut Turk is a family winery in the Austrian region of Kremstal. Some of the vineyards have been in the family since the early 1800s and the family has a winemaking history dating back even further. The family is led by winemaker Franz Turk who is recognised for his excellence in making Austria’s speciality white grape, Gruner Veltliner.
Franz has teamed together with his collaboration partners to make the Franz & Friends Gruner Veltliner. This is a fresh and fruity version of Gruner Veltliner, created to be an easy drinking white wine.

Gruner Veltliner is such a versatile grape that its sweetest versions are dessert style wines. Either late harvest, botrytis affected or the famous Austrian ice wines! Franz Turk’s ice wine version what declared by Wine Enthusiast magazine one year to be the ‘best rated Icewine ever’!
