Fine Wine Merchant host regular tastings, dinners and special events at venues around West London. Private events within the West London regions can also be arranged where we bring along a selection of wines to match your event and present them to your guests.
Regular tastings and dinners will include a brief discussion about each of the wines and why they were chosen for that tasting.
Types of events that we currently offer:
Chat & Wine – Tutored tasting of a flight of up to 8 wines with a platter of charcuterie and cheese. These will be led by our highly qualified staff and held at Chat Teddington, 91 Stanley Road, Teddington TW11 8UB.
Winelovers 1 & 2 – These are highly interactive introduction to wine courses run by our very own wine educator, Lisa Johnston who has been running wine courses for over 15 years. These courses will teach you how to taste wines to understand what you like and what you don’t like, and why one wine is different to another wine.
Wine masterclasses – We will be hosting monthly Winemusing Session masterclasses that are designed by our wine educator Lisa Johnston. These are 40 – 60 minutes long followed by a lively discussion about the 6 sample wines. The sessions are suitable for any knowledge level. During the masterclass, there will be a charcuterie and cheese tasting plate to enjoy with your wines.
Of course…. the wines will be available for sale on the night and via the website should you wish to make a purchase.
